How many years does a Possession of Stole Property(97-17-70) carry?
What does Habitual Offender(99-19-81) means and how many years does it carry?
I have a friend that was charged for Auto Burglary and they had no evidence but yet in still they indicted him on Possession ofStolen Property and it also has Habitual Offender under it and we would like to know the year sentences does it carry and will it be mandatory.

Indictments aren't obtained when there is "no evidence." Apparently they had enough evidence for the Grand Jury to indict your friend.
The charge carries 0-5 years and $0-$1,000.00 fine, plus costs of court. The habitual statute means that, if your friend is convicted, he will be sentenced to the mandatory maximum of 5 years, day-for-day, without the possibility of parole or early release.
