Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
She's 16. I'm 26. It was consensual.
We are going to tell her parents and do not know if they will have me arrested. There were no drugs or alcohol involved. She is not pregnant.
What could I be facing if they do? Any suggestions?

Under Section 97-2-65(3)(b) Miss. Code of 1972, you could be sentenced to a term of "up to thirty (30) years" and/or a fine of "up to Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00)" or both such fine and imprisonment.
