Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
I signed a document with my lawyer agreeing to plead guilty of a crime i did not commit and agreed to a plea deal with the district attorney. I only agreed to plead guilty because there is another person involved in my case and i was told it would be a he said he said case. He however has now taken full responsibility for his actions admitting i had nothing to do with it. Can I now recant my guilty plea and plead not guilty. We have not seen the judge yet.
