my ex wife filed domestic viloence charges against me 10yrs ago i had no idea until now, what can i expect in court?

You are technically charged with "Simple assault' with the understanding the "victim" is a domestic partner. If convicted you will be fined, and possibly jailed. You will lose the right in the future to carry a firearm, including the right to hunt and to purchase firearms in the future under current Federal laws. You should aggressively challenge the charge including the lapse of time between the time they recieved the charge and decided to enforce it by serving you with the Warrant.
You have "speedy trial" rights which may have been violated, particularly if any witness you could have produced then in your defense would be unavailable now due to the passage of ten (10) years time.
You should secure the services of competent counsel immediately.
