Re: Wrongly reported conviction

You will need to find out who (or what company) reported the conviction as a Felony conviction. If this is a private company (as compared to a law enforcement agency) you may have a claim against that company for defamation of character. If a law enforcement agency reported it as a Felony conviction you will need to get your attorney to trace the charge back to the original court to make sure the original court did not report this as a Felony (unless for some strange reason this was in fact considered a felony, which is highly unlikely).
