Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
A year ago I got caught up in a ordeal at my job and was charged with embezzlement. The charges are being dropped I never went to court. I recently applied for a job. It is in a different county. In order for me to get the job they are going to perform a background check. Will my charged show up? please help?

Unless you got the CHARGE expunged the Charge will probably show up. I would suggest immediately contacting competent counsel and have them explore the background records and file for an Expungement of the arrest. Be aware, however, that unless you omit this prior employer from your resume' your employer is likely to divulge the whole story.
