Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
A few years back I filled a chapter 7 and for fear of loosing my tractor I had a lawyer put my fathers name on the tractor. Now my father owes the power company alot of money and they gave him 5 years to pay or jail. Is there any way for the power company to take my tractor even if my name is on it ?? The lawyer I believe put my fathers name first on the tractor. Is there any way to get his name off??

There is no debtor prison in America. You cannot go to jail for owing a private company
