This is not part of my job description.I feel this is a promblem for management to handle. When I expressed this to the ''BOSS'' he said, your job is to do what ever I tell you to do, young lady! Re: Is this legal?

If you have been asked to do something truly illegal, then you may have a case for a constructive wrongful discharge because you were forced to resign and the manager's conduct is against public policy. However, this is a very tough case to make and would require your filing a lawsuit which is expensive and time-consuming.

You also mention that you filed a grievance. If this is a union shop, then you should have a very well-defined job description. If you were in fact asked to do work outside that description (which may even have been illegal), this likely violates the labor contract so it sounds like a good grievance.

Please feel free to call for a free consultation if you want to discuss the details so I can give you a better idea of your rights and options.

Good luck.
