dui on golf cart

can a person get charged with dui on a golf cart ?does it matter if the cart is gas powered or battery powered

I would argue that the law is part of traffic regulation so if you are not part of traffic on public roads, the DUI law should not apply. However, I don't think the Miss. Supreme Court has addressed this question.
