what is an ''enhancement''/

does a person get a dui plus an enhancement and what the heck is an enhancement?

Enhancement is a five dollar word that means second or third "offense". If you have had a DUI before and you get another one (ie. second), then you will be charged with an "enhanced" DUI or a second/third offense.
