Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

If you break up with your girlfriend and then she tells you she was pregnant but lost it. Then tells you that she is still pregnant a month after that and then the next has a miscarriage are you responsible for medical bills even if the baby was not born and you were not married?

You could be, if she can prove the fetus was yours. You may be held responsible for 1/2 or more, if the Court deemed it appropriate.
