Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Child support

One of my two children from a previous marriage is moving back in w/ his mom. I have had him for 4 years and have paid no child support as we both had one child. I have remarried and have two small children with my current wife. My ex now wants child support, more than I paid her 4 years ago. Will I have to pay her the standard 20% or does the court take into consideration that I have two other children to care for? She has asked for an increase in child support 3 times and I have always agreed, however--name removed--I can't afford anymore increases now that I am supporting 2 add'l children.

Re: Child support

Of course you will have to pay the 20%. Why should the children from your first marriage try to get by on less because you decided to father two additional children?
