divorce in mississippi

what is the timeframe needed to file for divorce. Example: must i be separated for 6-12 month's prior to filing, or can i file immediately? No child, no property.

You must be a resident of Mississippi for 6 months before filing for divorce.

Separation does not have to be a physical one. You can live together in the same domicile and file for a divorce, provided you have met the residency requirements. You can decide today that your marriage is over and file the paperwork as soon as it is signed and ready.
