Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Divorced and now he isnt paying his car note

Both of us are listed on his car, and he isnt paying on it and every month I get calls and notices that its overdue and then he pays it to stop the calls. This has destroyed my credit and may prevent me from getting a job. Is there anything I can do to get my name off of that title or anything I can do about this at all. Please help me.

Go back to the chancery court and ask for an order requiring the ex-husband to refinance the agreement or arrange for automatic deductions from his bank account for the debt. Also, you might consider adding a complaint for damages to your credit reputation.
