Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi
I have been divorced for almost a year, me and my ex husband agreed he would keep the kids while in school and I would keep them in the surrmer, I have Primary Custady of my 2 girls. I just got out of jail for grand larceny, the only reason I went to jail is because my name was on lease, I wasnt even there. Anyways my Ex- Husband went into a coma due to a overdose of methadone while I was in Jail. My kids were at their nana's house, Now i get served with papers from my ex-husbands sister wanting custody of my kids, what do I need to do?

Unless you want to risk losing custody and control of your children permanently you need to contact a lawyer to fight her and keep your children with you. However, if you feel it would truly be in the best interests of the children to stay with someone else then you need to meet with "Nana" (or whoever is suing for full custody) and try to negotiate an agreement to let her keep the children.
