Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

My Ex-husband id a deadbeat dad and he is a detriment to my daughters well being

I have sole custody of my daughter and her father owes me in excess of 20,000 dollars and never come or calls her and it is a detrement to her well being. I am not married but wish to take his rights away for her benefit, he could go to jail for the child support if they could find him, but its not about the money, I just want my daughter to grow up happy and I want him cut lose. In the state of Mississippi can his rights be taken away for abandoment without me being remarried ?

Refusal to pay child support is a grounds for termination of parental rights. Also, the father's failure to have contact with the child is relevant to whether his rights should be terminated.
