Guardianship

A friend of mine has a 16 year old daughter who will be in the 12th

grade during the 2004-05 school year. They recently moved to a

new city and the daughter would like to live with me for her last

school year. Would we need to establish guardianship or would a

Power of Attorney be enough for me to put her in school?
