Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

My ex husband obtained full physical and legal custody of our 6 year old daughter about 2 years ago because I did not show up to court. They gave him ALL say so when it comes to visitation and even talking to her on the phone. He is a 3rd time convicted felon and he is on drug court. He violated his drug court and they sent him back to jail. What do I need to do as the non custodial parent to get my daughter back?? My ex mother in law has her at the moment. Do I have any legal leg to stand on here? Please help!!!! I am in desperate need!!!
