Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

My ex husband had a seizure while driving,hit a tree and totaled his car this Sunday. He has primary custody of our 14 year old son.I was supposed to bring my son back but I'm worried about his saftey and well-being. I have an appointment with an attorney in the morning. My son has asked to stay with me . What should I do about this situation? I need to know A.S.A.P!!

Well if you have retained counsel speak with your counsel. If you are unrepresented I must say that until the court order is changed you could be held in contempt.

I would worry about a child's safety but as an officer of the court I cannot order someone to violate an order nor advise it
