am i loseing my gaurdianship

i am gaurdian for my newfew who is on drugs he receives social security checks each month they are suspose to be going into a bank account but was cut off because he would not go to school so i got him back into school so the check started back but were coming into the mail which he was getting and cashin them and i was authorized by the court to take money from the account and i did.i called the social security office and they would not talk to me because he is 18 years old

Contact a staff member of your US Congressman or Senator for assistance in getting the SSA to talk to you and ask for an "acquiescence ruling" by the Social Security Administration Commissioner that will recognize guardianships in Mississippi of persons under the age of 21.
