Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi
man sleeps with my wife.
I am deployed to iraq right now. my wife admitted that aprox. 5 months ago, a ''friend'' started acting nice, flirting, and becoming attracted to her, although he knew she was married. She says that her and some friends went to his house for drinks. he continued to let her drink well past the point of drunkeness and would not let her leave his house. they had sex, although she did not want to, she also admits that she had become somewhat attracted to him. he stated that as long as she kept her mouth shut nobody would find out.
what are my legal options towards the man involved. I do not want a divorce at this time becuase we are expecting a child together. This has put a strain mentally on our marriage, and I'm worried that the stress my wife is experienceing could cause a miscarrieage.
thank you.

Re: man sleeps with my wife.
if he did something to overcome her willpower, you can sue him for allenation of affection. The case will probably have to employ expert testimony to show how vulnerable your wife was as the time and the nature of your relationship prior to and after the advances.
The immediate result will probably be that he will abandon his advances towards your wife. Your measure of damages will be for your pain and suffering and possibly loss of consortium.
