Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Can I prevent a restraining order?

Do I have the right to have my side heard before a court order is issued against me? Are there different kinds of court orders? Can I prevent an order from being issued if I am innocent? This pretains mostly to youth court.

You don't give enough details to answer your question, but in my state (NC), the answer to your question may be "NO." A restraining order is often an emergency device where only one side is heard. But if they have a restraining order against you, there is obviously a serious problem of some sort. Why would you want to go there anyway if they don't want you there? Are you using your head or is your reaction just an emotional one?
