removing parental rights
can you take away a fathers rights if he is mentally disabled,has never paid child support(child is six),and has never made an effort to have a relationship with the child.

This question is difficult to answer without more details, particularly in regard to his mental disability. However, it is never easy to terminate parental rights without the consent of the other party, as it should be.
