Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

I have signed my divorce papers, but my husband refuses to sign them.

I have signed my divorce papers, but my husband refuses to sign. i know he will be served with tthe papers, but he reserves the right not to sign. what are my options, now? see, he does not want this divorce and is even threatening to try say the only way he will sign is if he can charge me with adultery, which is bogus. i have not done anything of the sort; he is just this determined that this divorce will not happen. he does not believe that it will happen if he does not sign. isn't it tru that it will still occur even without his signature? won't it just take longer?

Divorce Papers - Define Please

I am confused by your terminology of "divorce papers." Are you referring to a Bill of Complaint for Divorce, or some sort of Property Settlement Agreement. Do you have a case pending in Court? In what state are you located. If you can provide additional information as to the specifics of your case, I may be able to provide some answers.
