Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi
Temporary Custody
I was not living anywhere, so I gave my mother temporary custody of my son. I am married and I have a place to live now so I would like to gain custody back of my son. Do you think that's any way possible?

Re: Temporary Custody
Miss Code Section 93-13-5 indicates that an appointed guardian shall not be prevail against a parent of the child for guardianship if the parent is a suitable person for custody.

Re: Temporary Custody
There shouldn't be any reason NOT to be able to get your children back. Of course other things will come into play besides what you described here.
Let me know if I may be of additional assistance.
