is it possible to bring a tort case against a husband for economic and emotional abuse after the divorce in mississippi?

Generally, claims you have against your husband that have accrued prior to your divorce are barred if they are not raised in the divorce. Claims that accrue after the divorce such as intentional infliction of emotional distress and bad faith are possible.
