Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Does it take more than a year for my future's ex to respond to my lawyer????

I filed for a divorce over a year ago and everytime I talk to my lawyer she is waiting on a response from them. I have aleady invested money in this lawyer but I cannot get her to do anything. We served him with the divorce papers and then in July we sent him our demands. She tells me there are no time frames. We are just waiting on him to respond. Should I switch lawyers? Can I report her to someone? How can I motivate her? I hate to get real ugly with her because I want her on my side. HELP!

you should make an appointment to discuss your concerns face to face with your attorney instead of relying on the telephone.
