Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Mississippi
car repair
I recently paid a guy to put a transmission in my car. When he finished my car would not start. He could not find the problem. He then made no effort to take my car elsewhere to see what he had done wrong. I had to get someone to load my car and take it to another person. Now I have found out that it is going to cost a lot more to fix my car because of the things the first guy did wrong. I lost the warranty on the transmission because of this situation. What can I do legally about this?

You can report him to the Better Business Bureau and the consumer protection division of the Miss. Attorney General's office, negotiate, and file suit. You can also represent yourself in justice court or hire an attorney.
