Default Judgment

If I file a complaint and the defendant doesn't answer, do I just have to file with the Clerk, or do I have to file a Motion for Default Judgment and schedule a Hearing?

Send the clerk an application for entry of default supported by your affidavit. Then set a hearing for the judge to consider your case.
