Legal Question in Insurance Law in Mississippi
Hello. I was building a big, beautiful log home and it burned down before I could finish it (couple weeks ago). I spoke with the adjustor the other day for the first time and he threw a clause out that really scared me. I've been unable to find a definition for it.
"Existing inventory"; it is an exclusion. Too, it's definition goes on to say Existing inventory means buildings or structures in the course of construction that are more than 30% complete prior to the inception date of this policy.
I purchased the policy at about 85% completion only a couple of months ago. PLEASE, can I get a little assistance. Thank you.

if there is an insurance dispute then I strongly suggest you consult with an attorney to review the policy and see your rights
