Legal Question in Insurance Law in Mississippi

Insurance Release

My son, 17 years old, has had two auto accidents in the past year, his fault. His insurance is soo high after these. Saturday he had another accident, his fault. The driver of the other vehicle has agreed to allow me to repair their car without reporting the accident to the insurance company, which would definitely cancel my coverage. I am very willing to do this, however, do I need to get some type of document signed releasing me from any further liability? I do not want them to came back in the future and file with my insurance company for some type of injury that they are not complaining of now.

Re: Insurance Release

Yes absolutely! Get them to sign a statement releasing you from "all claims of any kind (specifically property and bodily injury) arising from the accident between ____ and __ on the ___ day of ____, 2002" and have it notarized before you begin the work.
