Legal Question in Insurance Law in Mississippi
rear ended w/ no insurance
i was rear ended but do not have auto insurance, we were both ticketed for ''no proof of insurance'' if he does provide proof of ins, does that make me liable because i was driving illegally? he hit me. in minnesota.

The answer to your question is no. You are not liable/negligent merely by the fact of not carrying automobile insurance. You still have a claim for property damages and/or personal injury from the at-fault driver and his/her insurance company. What you will not have is medical & wage loss benefits available to you under a no-fault policy (which would have been your insurance).
