Re: Discrimination

Under federal law, unless the discrimination is based upon race, religion, color, national origin, gender, disability or age, then it is not illegal. Discriminating against workers based upon their job type may be a mask for some form of illegal discrimination, but it also may not. Also, you need to consider what type of damage you have suffered as a result of this conduct. If you are suffering some sort of damage, you may want to either file a Charge of Discrimination with EEOC or contact an attorney to help you in evaluating and possibly prosecuting your claim.

You may also have additional rights under your state's laws. You should consult with an attorney licensed in your state to determine what sorts of rights you may have.
