Legal Question in Employment Law in Mississippi
I signed a hiring form at work and so did our HR person. It said they would pay me a certain amount and we both agreed to it. 3 monthes later, they said they made a mistake and wanted to cut my pay dramatically. Can they change my rate of pay based on a "Mistake on their end"?

Not if there was a definite period (i.e, a year) but if there was no stated period at the wage rate stated they have the option to modify wages at any time. In the alternative they can fire you for no reason if you do not accept the modification to the wage rate.
