Legal Question in Employment Law in Mississippi
I was terminated from my previous employer for sexual harrassment. I didn't find out that my termination was for sexual harrassment until my unemployment benefits were denied. My question is can a person be terminated for a conversation that occurred off company time that the other party considered that I sexually harassed them?

Unless you have a contract, you can be fired for any reason unless that reason is illegal like race, disability or in retaliation for complaining about sexual harassment.
