Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Mississippi
Leasing Laws
I am currently renting an apartment, and the lease will run out in August of 2008. I graduated from college in December and now must relocate in another city two hours away for my new job. I talked to the management of my office about breaking my lease. They told me the only option I have is to pay off the entire lease, which will cost $2730.00. I would like to know what the law says about this.
Thank you,
Kristen Sorrell

Re: Leasing Laws
You may be able to settle with LL if you explain situation and offer to pay for AD and show it is presentable condition.
