Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Mississippi
We are currently renting a home. Just recently, I accidentally ran our car into part of the house, causing damage. We contacted the owner and informed her about the situation. We also agreed to repair and pay for all cost. The owner is now delaying the process and we have a hole in the wall that is being covered by a piece of plastic. How long does the owner have to make repairs, considering safety issues and more damge caused by weather?

The owner has a reasonable time to make the repairs. If any additional damage occurs because the owner did not cooperate, you would probably not be liable for that additional damage.
