Being Wrongfully Evicted

My Father in Law secured a loan for us to buy our home, we make the mortage payments through him and pay all our own utilities and taxes. Our 6 year old son had a friend spend the night and my father in law became outraged because the little boy was black. He just had us served eviction papers. Our home sits on his property. Do we have any leagle rights or do we have to move.

A landlord cannot evict a tenant (or their visitors) based on skin color. However, a landlord can evict for any material violation of the lease. It all depends on the lease agreement between you and the landlord. If the landlord can prove a lease violation, he may be able to evict you. Overall, given the circumstances you described, the eviction notice appears to be the least of your concerns and I recommend moving to another location with a more race-friendly landlord.
