Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Mississippi

Malpractice?

I was involved in an auti accident whereas I required surgery at the small ER that I was taken to. After one day, I went to another Dr. and he performed another surgery adding another 8'' plate in my leg as well as 6 more screws. I was also not givin any pain medication until 45 min after i was at the hospital. Turns out the attending Orthaepedic was not allowed to give pain meds due to a narcotic abuse problem which he suffered. Do i need to hire an attorney?
