Legal Question in Product Liability in Mississippi
I had court papers delivered by the local sheriff and he signed an affidavit that he delivered the papers to the individual in person. Now that person states he did not receive the papers and the sheriff verbally admitted he gave the papers to the clerk where the person worked. Do I have any recourse? A large lawsuit is pending on this. Thank you

You may get some recourse from the sheriff and the county under the Mississippi Tort Claims Act.
