Legal Question in Traffic Law in Mississippi
tire spin
I just recieved a wreckless driving ticket for spinning my tires. The officer that pulled me over is not the one who signed the ticket. There were several other people who did the same thing (we were at a small town parade)in worse situations than I. The officer who pulled me over did not have his driving lights on (it was dark). The officer who signed the ticket arrived after 10 or 15 minutes and was a complete smart-ass. I said to the officer that he could be ''a little more polite''and he informed me that I ''could goto jail right now''. I ask him for what(as they had already given me the ticket)and I left and said ''ya'll have a good evening.

Re: tire spin
One must witness the "misdemeanor" to ticket it.
