Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Mississippi
Left out of a parent's will!
If a child has been excluded from a parent's estate, does that child have a
right to sue for a portion equal to her siblings? The estate is estimated at
$500,000. Is it worth persuing?

Re: Left out of a parent's will!
The value of the estate indicates it is worth at least looking into the matter. A child can be intentionally excluded, but a child that a parent forgot to include in the will (e.g. child born after the will was executed) can claim a proportionate share of the estate.
