Re: probating a will

I am licensed in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.

If the will was signed during the time when the testator was a resident of Mississippi but later moved to another state where the testator died, we will file a petition to admit the will to probate and show the court that the will met the second state's law regarding the execution of wills at the time it was executed by the testator.

If the will has already been probated in Mississippi, then we only need to admit a certified copy of the will in the second state for Muniment of Title purposes only. Muniment of Title is limited to only changing legal title to real property.

The executor under the will must appear in court under both of the above examples.
