wills vs trusts
my wifes mother has a trust and a will,my wifes name is on her cd`s and bank account.then she has a trust to be divided in shares.does the cd and bank account go back into the trust?

The mother's intent is the question. If your wife has rights according to the account documents then usually those documents will control over language in the trust or will, and the provisions of the trust control over the will. However, if there is evidence that the mother intended a different arrangement, she needs to resolve the ambiguity to avoid potentially significant litigation costs.
