Legal Question in Workers Comp in Mississippi
I was injured in 2003. I settled in 2009 for the checks workers comp paid every 2 weeks but now I would like to settle future medical. I have an attorney for 10 years now and asked him to write a proposal for this as well as change my name as I had gotten married in Sept 2012. None of which was done . We also applied for disability and was denied by an ALJ in May 2012 which he told me there was no way to appeal I spoke with him 2 weeks ago which he informed me that my files were in storage and hurried me off the phone. My question is can I write workers comp with my proposal for a settlement of future medical? Thank you
