What is a Transactional Attorney verses a prosecuting Attorney?

A transactional attorney routinely handles business deals and "transactions" providing information about tax consequences and steering folks away from hazards that the law may have erected.
A prosecuting attorney is normally an elected official. Actual prosecution is usually done by assistant prosecutors appointed by the elected prosecutor.
