Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Missouri
expartes
I've heard that after you serve your time with perfect conduct and after your out for longer than a year, you may request to the district Judge for an Exparte to have your record expunged. I can not find any forms for this and do not know the legal proceedure. Can anyone advise?
Thanks in advance

Re: expartes
The word you are looking for is expungement, and there is no equitable expungement in Missouri. A court cannot expunge a record unless the conviction was wrongful.
A better bet would be for you to apply for a pardon through the Board of Pardons and Parole.
