Legal Question in Banking Law in Missouri
checking accounts
My mother in law went into a nursing home, two of the children are now P O Attorney. The bank was notified of this, and we are letting the home be foreclosed. Mother in law has an account there, which the bank closed account on without P O A knowledge. Is this legal?

Is the mortgage loan balance in excess of the reasonable value of home? If not why not sell or re-fi?
WHen getting a POA, all accounts should be inventoried and creditor list prepared.Call or email for further assistance. I have experience in this complex area.
