Legal Question in Banking Law in Missouri
Unfair Practice By USBANK
My husband and I have owned a locally owned business together for six years. Recently he decided he wanted a divorce. We had outstanding loans against our business with US BANK. Without my knowledge he closed our accts, not notifying me. I had paid monthly bills for our company totaling 18,000.00 I stopped on my way out of town to cash my paycheck and was told my acct was closed. However, the bank has honored other checks on that account with his approval on his new acct. They are also refusing to give me copies of our loan papers, financial statements etc, and I am a co signer on all the loans. I am also on the deeds of trust held as collateral. Is this legal?
