bankrupcy do you have to wait 7 years or 10 years??
I filed bankruptcy 7yrs ago this Dec. How does the new 10 yr law effect me? Do I have to go 10 yrs before my name is cleared ? When did it go to 10 yrs? Once my time is up how do I clear my record?

Re: bankrupcy - 7 years or 10 years?
There is no "new" ten-year law. Bankruptcy stays on
credit reports for ten years. Most other matters
come off in 7.
